JANU researchers are examining whether combinations of routinely measurable health indicators can provide a clearer picture of early cardiovascular risk than individual measurements considered alone.
The study focuses on relationships among:
Inflammatory markers
Signals associated with inflammation within the body
Vascular function
Changes in how blood vessels respond and regulate circulation
Metabolic indicators
Measurements associated with glucose regulation, lipids, and broader metabolic health
Rather than developing a single diagnostic test, the research aims to better understand how these indicators interact during earlier stages of cardiovascular change.
From Laboratory Research to Health Practice

Researchers from the Jinsung Biomedical Research Institute and Center for Translational Health Sciences are working together to examine how biological findings may eventually support future approaches to risk assessment and prevention.
